How can I book accommodation?
You can make a reservation online via our website, by phone or by email. Of course, there is the possibility of accommodation without a reservation. However, we always recommend making a reservation on weekends, as the campsite is often full.
What are the cancellation policies?
Cancellation policies vary by booking type. Detailed information can be found in the booking confirmation or in the section Terms and conditions.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is from 16:00 PM to 22:00 PM. Check-out for tents and caravans it is until 12:00, check-out for cabins and glamping is until 10:00. Leaving the room without extra charge is possible until 10:00. After that, a fee of €10,00 is charged for each additional hour. Later departure is possible only after agreement with the reception.
What are the overall facilities of the area?

How do I apply discounts for various attractions?
As an accommodated guest, you receive various discounts on your stay - Experience package for your stay. These discounts CANNOT be applied when purchasing a ticket online. You can apply them physically, directly at the MaraFun ticket office. Just show a valid reservation or a ticket.
Are there activities for children available at the resort?
Yes, during the summer season we offer a rich program for children – children's animations , in addition, your children can also have fun in Kids Zone.
What are the operating hours of Mara FUN and Kids Zone?
The attractions are only open during the summer season and their opening hours for 2025 have yet to be announced.
Is there Wi-Fi on site?
Yes, Wi-Fi is included in the price of accommodation throughout the property.
What does the kitchenette in cabins, mobile homes or glamping tents include?
The kitchenette in these types of accommodation includes a refrigerator (except for glamping) and basic dishes. You can wash dishes directly in the cottages and houses, or in the case of glamping or camping, you can use the summer kitchen or shared sanitary facilities near the Námorník restaurant.
What does the kitchenette in the apartments include?
Each kitchenette has an electric kettle, microwave, induction hob or stove, pots, pans, cutting board, grater, ladles, knives. Also a set of plates and cutlery, a set of glasses, mugs. Dishwashing detergent, dishcloth, dish sponge. Each apartment also has a refrigerator and a dishwasher.
Will we find hotel cosmetics in the apartments?
Each apartment has a dispenser for shower gel and shampoo, and children's cosmetics are also available in the apartment for children under 12 years of age.
We are coming with a baby, can we borrow a cot from you?
Of course, we can provide everything you need in the apartment (cot, high chair, potty, toilet and bed rail, etc.) if necessary. You can also inquire about the options directly at the reception.
Is it possible to park your car directly at the campsite or apartments?
Yes, you can park your car directly next to your tent, glamping tent, apartment, cabin and house. However, you can also park in the large parking lot directly in front of the campsite, which is FREE.
Is there a fee for parking at the campsite?
Yes, parking near tents and caravans is charged at €10 per day. Parking near cottages and houses, glamping, or apartments is already included in the price.
Is it necessary to reserve a place for a tent or caravan in advance?
Of course, there is the possibility of accommodation without a reservation. However, we always recommend making a reservation on weekends, as the campsite is often full.
We have a dog, can he come with us?
Pets are not allowed in Mara Holiday Resort apartments. However, pets are welcome in our camping area - in cabins, mobile homes, glamping, tents and caravans. You can find the exact conditions and prices for staying with a pet in our price list.
Pets are allowed within our campsite. However, the rules of the municipal beach do not allow pets.
Are we entitled to holiday vouchers and can we use them?
Yes, you can use a holiday voucher with us without any problems. All you have to do is book your stay directly through our website or through reception, and we will issue you an advance payment and a final invoice.
Important: The holiday voucher can only be used by the person for whom the stay is booked. Invoices (both advance and final) will be issued in the name of the guest who booked the stay. It is not possible to change the billing details to another person (e.g. spouse). Please keep this in mind when making a reservation.
How do we get to you from the Liptovský Mikuláš railway station?
Next to the railway station is a bus station, from where buses depart in the direction of Liptovský Trnovec / Kvačany / Liptovské Matiašovce / Bobrovník / Ružomberok /Veľké Borové /. The nearest stop is Liptovský Trnovec crossroads. They are located approximately 550 m below Mara Camping.
Can guests light their own grill at the tent?
Yes, they can. However, we also offer the possibility to rent a grill and charcoal for fee.
Is there a catering option at the campsite?
Of course, the resort also includes Restaurant Sailor, The campsite also has several buffets with street food.
What time do the buffets and restaurant open?
The restaurant and buffets are open only during the summer season. Opening hours for 2025 are yet to be announced.
If we want to cook for ourselves during our stay, will we find a grocery store nearby?
There is a grocery store near Mara Camping, in Liptovský Trnovec. In addition, as our guests you can use a 10% discount in the store KRIVAN with homemade pastries and other foods.
